Nathan Bolkovic

As a licensed architect inspired by the biblical narrative, Nathan guides groups from Athens to Florence, weaving the stories of ancient structures into early church history and prophetic insights from Daniel and Revelation. Through these immersive tours, he sparks transformative spiritual connections that resonate deeply. His goal is to equip you with newfound knowledge and a renewed passion for sharing the Great Controversy's profound impact on the ancient world.

Aron Balorda

After a formative period of atheism, Aron underwent an intellectual re-examination of foundational questions concerning truth and meaning, culminating in his conversion to Biblical Christianity.  He subsequently pursued formal theological education, earning a degree in Pastoral Ministry and a Master’s degree in Biblical and Jewish Studies.
His academic work focuses on biblical hermeneutics and the articulation of a coherent biblical worldview.  Drawing upon both scholarly research and lived experience, he is committed to the careful exposition of Scripture and to demonstrating the relevance of biblical worldview in an increasingly secular age.  Guided and inspired by the experience and ideas of the apostle Paul, in his writing and teaching Aron passionately engages with the biblical text while encouraging the pursuit of holiness

Andrew von Maur

Andrew is passionate about Christian education and revealing God’s tangible presence in our world. As a professor of architecture at Andrews University he directed the European study program there and led mission projects around the globe for two decades. Raised in Germany and educated in Italy, France, and the US, he believes in the transformative potential of immersive, faith-oriented travel. Andrew brings a deep interest in historical and cultural knowledge to Living Stone Journeys, with a firm belief that God has always used architecture to “speak” of His plan of redemption (Exodus 25:40; Luke 19:40). He continues to serve as an adjunct professor at Andrews University and owns a design practice dedicated to community development and church mission.
